Block Clearance Therapy (BCT) is a holistic approach designed to address and resolve emotional, mental, and even physical blockages that hinder an individual’s wellbeing and progress. What a session looks like
A typical Block Clearance Therapy session begins with a thorough assessment of the individual’s current emotional and mental state. During a difficult life period, a mutual friend suggested having a session with Jane to see if psychodynamic therapy could be helpful. I did not know what to expect but was instantly put at ease by Jane who was warm and welcoming. She explained how she worked, providing background information to her therapy.
The session was very much a partnership with Jane providing a safe and caring space to explore some of the issues and feelings that I was going through. Some of those feelings were so deep, that I was not aware they existed, but they definitely did! Without realising it, these feelings had influenced my actions, behaviours, opinions and choices throughout life, and often not in a helpful way.
During the session, Jane guided me through a type of journey which was similar to a very relaxing, waking dream. At the time, I could find little meaning in this, but afterwards we would discuss what had occurred together and her insights uncovered meaning and relevance.
Subsequently, I had five sessions and each one was thought-provoking, providing a new perspective to consider. In all, these sessions have been life changing, in a very positive way. Thank you, Jane, for your time and kindness.
